Two Christmas Carol Videos: “The Wexford Carol” and “Where is the Line to See Jesus”

Today I give you two beautiful Christmas carols.

The first is a medieval carol, “The Wexford Carol” as performed by Yo Yo Ma and Alison Krauss.  It is a haunting rendition that I find achingly beautiful, and seems to place me in an medieval cathedral as I listen to it.

The second carol is a modern piece, recorded by Becky Kelley just last year at Shock City Studios in St. Louis titled “Where is the Line to See Jesus?”  It sets itself in the modern cathedral, a shopping mall, and asks seeks to remind us of the holiness of the season that is often lost in the “holiday” rush.

Enjoy.
